There's three versions: The original NeoGeo cart, the PSX port, and the NeoGeo CD version. The first is the arcade version. The PSX one has missing frames and audio, and the music sucks. The NeoGeo CD version has the best music by far. If you know emulators then play the NeoGeo or NeoGeo CD versions. Avoid the PSX one.

I think there was something that would make it possible to play import games on your ps, but thanks. I know a modified ps would work. Are you saying the neo geo version is good? I see you telling me not to get the ps version, but then you tell me to get the neo eo version.

A US/European PS3 won't play games that aren't made for your region. So either mod your PS3 (what?) or get a modded PS1/PS2. Or use an emulator. But really, don't bother getting this game. It's HORRIBLE. Missing frames, choppy audio, horrible music... just get an emulator and the NeoGeo CD version. Don't ask me where to get it, just do it.

Sorry. The Gowvaizer PS1 home port is the worst port of anything ever.

I remember both the movie and the game. The movie only made it here (in Brazil) in DVD and in CD, but the game was quite popular on Arcades, as most SNK games produced at that time

Please tell me it doesn't suck as much as this port. PLEASE. (Seriously though, I wonder if Urban Plant was a part of Technos or something.)

There was also a PS port of Gowcaizer too done by the same company (Urban Plant).
