Prue died in all hell breaks loose - the last episode of season 3 - but at the end when she dies - you only get to see her and piper lying on the ground, its then the first episode of season 4 that prues funeral is held and when paige comes into the story

I think the actress left the show during the off-season, thus there was no episode of her dying, they would have had to re-create the remainder of the show during the off-season to make it look like she died. Pity though, that would've been a DAMN GOOD episode.

Of course I don´t wanna criticize you, but how can you be sure that it was Shay who wanted to stand in the mittle? Maybe it was Prue, the role how it was written?! I wouldn´t say that Shannen is the person who always wanna be the hero! But I accept of course that you didn´t like Prue and that´s totally ok! I just wanted to say this! Don´t get it wrong, ok?! it cuz leo healed piper first and since they both were on the edge of dying, prue died while piper was being healed.....that y piper blames herself 4 prue's death...
